Interior Ministry drafts resolution to abolish foreign travel permit stamp

The Belarus's Interior Ministry has drafted a decree to abolish a special stamp in the passport which allows the citizens of Belarus to travel abroad, reports the official news agency Belta. The draft, presently under study at the government, envisages the abolition of the stamp from January 1, 2008.

At the same time, the Interior Ministry proposes to approve a regulation about the database of people who are temporarly restricted from travelling abroad.
