Insurer to pay $900,000 for crashed plane

Belarus' SU-27UBM fighter that crashed in Poland on Sunday was insured for $900,000, Lyubou Simonchyk, director general of the Pramtransinvest insurance company, told Interfax.   The two dead pilots were insured for $15,000 each.

 

The insurance cover will be paid within ten days on receipt of an act from the team, which is investigating the crash, Simonchyk said.
