Independent mass media are termed “radical groupings”

The deputy Public Prosecutor of Minsk Alyaksei Stuk has confirmed that he signed the search warrant for offices of independent mass media in an interview with Radio Liberty. Besides the names of people working for the “BelSat” TV channel, there is a handwritten note in that document. It says that searches should be conducted “in the flats of other activists of radical politicized groupings”. The head of Navapoltsk affiliate of BAJ Andrei Alyaksandrau informed the press service of the organization about it. The search in his flat ended at 2 p.m.

It becomes clear that KGB members are trying to prevent the distribution of mendacious figments about the leader of the Belarusian state. The matter concerns “an animation clip” that was said to have been broadcasted by “BelSat”.
