IMF and Belarus have not agreed on credit allocation yet

The mission of the International Monetary Fund that arrived in Minsk on October 27 to discuss the allocation of a stand-by credit will continue consulting.
A representative of the Belarusian IMF office has not specified when the negotiations will be over and refused to comment on the course and tone of the discussion, informs “Interfax”.

The IMF mission had been planning to finish its work in Minsk by November 6. However, the deputy director of the European Department of the IMF Juh Kahkonen joined it on November 8.

Let us remind you that Belarus is asking for a stand-by credit of 2 billion dollars.
