IIHF under pressure to apologize for Belarusian white-red-white flag ban
Belarus fans also demand that International Ice Hockey Federation respect human rights during the games.

Euroradio reminds that the incident with the ban of white-red-white flag at the Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden grabbed media and public attention both in Belarus and abroad. Under the public pressure, the international federation proposed a 'compromise': it is allowed to bring flags in, but it is banned to unfold them.
Fans are not happy with the decision. They have begun collecting signatures under the appeal to the International Ice Hockey Federaration. The appeal can be signed here.
As of May 10, 1430 Belarus time, there were slightly over 800 signatures.
