Hvedaruk lodges complaint about assault and battery
Zmіtser Hvedaruk has sent a complaint to the Central District Office of Public Prosecutor and demanded to conduct a check-up and start a criminal case against members of the Special Police Troops detachment.
The youth activist noted that their actions during the dispersion of a peaceful picket “For Independent Belarus” in Minsk were illegal and led to his physical injuries.
Let us remind you that Zmitser Hvedaruk was delivered to hospital #9 with a diagnosis: brain concussion and various injuries, reports the “Vyasna” human rights defending centre.
Let us note that Hvedaruk had just returned from the USA before the action. He took part in a delegation of Belarusian democratic forces there.
