Humour and no pathos: social videos to be launched on STV

Authors are going to use the example of granny drivers to prove that it is never late to live and will demonstrate that houses in Belarus are built quicker than children are born on the eve of the election. Unusual social commercials will be shown on the STV before the election. They are made by Uladzimir Yankouski, producer of hundreds of commercials and music videos.

"The commercials will describe life and people. They will be humorous and will not be pathetic. One of the commercials will be dedicated to medicine, the other –to pensioners and the third – to construction.  These are real life situations", — said the producer in an interview with ERB.

The first commercial demonstrates that it is never early to live.

"Two 60-year-old grannies are in a car. One of them has received a driving license and says that she wanted to do it long ago and has finally got it. Her son helped her buy the car. The other one says: “Oh, my! It is too late at our age.” And the first woman responds: “Our age is only the beginning”.
The second commercial is about two little hockey players waiting for their pregnant mother at a polyclinic. They are quarrelling trying to guess who will be born a forward or a goal-keeper. Their mother comes out and says: “It will be a gymnast girl!”.
The third commercial is about construction.

"A young couple are walking with a baby in a pram. They pass by a building site and the wife says: “Look: our storey has already been built!” The husband asks: “They are building it so quickly that we could settle there as a family of four.” The wife responds: “No, there will only be three of us. They are building so quickly that we will settle there really soon. The fourth one will not have enough time to be born”. Indeed, it takes a year to build a block of flats nowadays”, - said Uladzimir Yankouski commenting on the contents of the commercial.
The producer has already made three commercials ordered by the channel. They will be broadcast soon. However, the STV channel has also ordered commercials about the army, youth and students. Script writers are already working on them.

Interestingly, the commercials will be aired right before the election.

Let us remind you that billboards “Victory is in Our Hands” have appeared in Minsk recently.
