Homel regional affiliate of UDF loses one subject
The organization “Homel Democratic Forum” has officially left Homel reagional affiliate of the United Democratic Forces today, on March 3. According to a website odsgomel.org, “this is the first case of leaving the UDF on the regional level”.
The head of “Homel Democratic Forum” Darya Suvorava explains the withdrawal from the UDF coalition by the fact that “There is no place for civil activists there”. The HDF could cooperate with the authorities and the UDF talks to officials only “with the help of ultimatums”, she says.
Let us note that Suvorava became the organization’s leader several days ago and replaced its founder Pyotr Kuznyatsou who is also a coordinator of the Movement “For Freedom” in Homel Province.
