Homel fans organize performance with city’s ancient coat of arms (photo)
A special performance with Belarusian banners was organized by the hosts during Homel-Shahtsyor (Salihorsk) match.
They raised the club emblem and Homel’s ancient coat of arms in the centre of the stands.
The most outstanding buildings of the city and the number 1142 (the year when Homel was first mentioned in the chronicle) were drawn on one of the banners. The other banner was an image of the club’s fan movement and the number 1959 – the year when the club was created in Homel.
The words ‘This is my city. This is my club’ were written under the pictures.
However, Homel lost to Shahtsyor 0:1.
