Dinamo Minsk on Tuesday defeated Lokomotiv Yaroslavl 2-1 away from home to record only a second victory in the 2018/19 KHL season. Remarkably, the Russian side is currently among the leaders of the West conference.

Brendon Kozun put the hosts ahead on 12 minutes before Minsk's Dennis Kazionov levelled in the second period. On 28 minutes Patrick Wiercioch ensured the Belarusian Bizons came back to lead. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle.

On 20 September, Bizons will head to Cherepovets in northern Russia to clash with Severstal.
