Ice hockey: Belarus defeats Denmark 5:2

Belarus defeated Demark in a qualification match in Minsk on September 1.

 

The guests were leading at the beginning – Nicklas Jensen scored a goal during the third minute. Alexander Pavlovich equalised during the 12th minute. Artsyom Volkau scored a short-handed goal during the 18th minute.

No gaols were scored in the second period. Belarusians were very active in the third period: Syarhei Kastsitsyn scored the third goal and Andrei Stas scored the third goal with the help of Plat’s pass.

Denmark replaced their goalkeeper at the very end of the match. They managed to reduce the score difference: Jannik Hansen scored a goal during the 59th minute.

However, Syarhei Kaststitsyn managed to score one more gaol before the end of the match. The final score was 5:2. Belarus won.
