Hijacking

The Belarusian President has awarded 93 people working in different spheres today.

"He was drunk, does not remember anything. There is no hard evidence of guilt," a relative quotes the Belarusian defense lawyer as saying.

He has been accused of trying to hijack a Belavia passenger plane.

The press service of the Georgian airline has refuted the messages about a Georgian citizen’s attempt to hijack a Kutaisi–Minsk plane on June 10.

The plane was heading from Kutaisi to Minsk on June 10 when a passenger sent a note to the pilot threatening to blow the aircraft.
