Gorremautodor explains usage of 8 water carts during opposition action

Blogger Anton Matolka recived a reply to his complaint to KGB and Minsk City Executive Committee from Gorremautodor . The blogger asked why part of the Independence Avenue near the Circus and GUM was blocked on May 14 and why 8 water carts were brought there. The opposition organized the action National Flag Day on that day.

Matolka suspected that the budget money was used irrationally. He asked to answer how much money had been spent on such cleaning, how much fuel had been used and how many people had taken part in it.

Gorremautodor replied to Matolka. They were testing new equipment for road washing on that day, CEO Hlinski claimed. Furthermore, they were practicing cooperation with the driving inspectorate and drivers on that day, the official said.

Gorremautodor CEO did not mention the cost of the cleaning in his reply.
