“Gazprom” prepares to make announcement within next few hours
A meeting in “Gazprom” has already been in process for several hours.
It started right after Alyaksandr Lukashenka had announced that the debt for Russian gas – 460 million dollars – would be paid within the next few days.
However, the question whether Belarus will have enough time to pay remains. Russia promised to cut down gas supplies tomorrow morning.
The meeting in “Gazprom” is expected to end at 6 p.m. Interestingly, the meeting that is being conducted by the Belarusian Ministry of Finance will also end at the same time.
