Full version of Independence Day military parade rehearsal (photo+video)
Over 2500 troops marched and 160 combat vehicles rolled on the streets of Minsk to rehearse a military parade that will take place on July 3 in the Belarusian capital to mark the Independence Day.
In the evening of June 30, the military staged a general rehearsal of a military parade. The streets were cordoned by the police with metal detectors.
Over 25000 troops and 160 combat vehicles did final touches to their skills. Apart from tanks, artillery and other military vehicles, civilian tractors and trucks also participated in the rehearsal.
Officers that stood nearby complained about the financial aspect of the parade. A Lt.Col was impressed by huge expenses: a costly special fuel for tanks.
