Freedom Songs Part 3 to be devoted to youth protesters

The two Freedom Songs albums, released during the hot spring of 2006, hit the headlines, despite it was a debut by a new independent label VoliaMusic. The popularity of the first two editions pushed the producers to make the third disc, which will be released on March 19, 2007.

The label producer, Puper, said the new CD would include the songs inspired by the youth protests at the October Square in Minsk, unofficially named as the Kalinowski Square.

On March 19, the producers want to congratulate Belarus with the revival of the spirit of freedom and independence. They stressed that the project was still open participation. Authors, poets and bands, who wish to contribute to the Freedom Songs-3, should contact the organizers by February 19, 2007 and offer their pieces by e-mail: [email protected]

We can advise the future listeners to subscribe to the CD delivery, because the number of copies will be as usual limited. You should send your coordinates (postal address and a telephone) to [email protected]

It is also planned that the new singles from the Freedom Songs-3 will be available for downloading at za-svabodu.org

Among the singles on the disc are Bloody March by CpB band, In Memory of Tents by Andrej Hadanovic and others.
