For Freedom movement to seek registration despite all odds

The Supreme Court of Belarus on Tuesday began hearing a complaint from For Freedom movement, a human rights NGO that was denied registration for three times by the justice ministry.
The justice ministry said that the actual aims of the organization did not match the charter.

The Supreme Court will read the verdict on August 6 at 1500. There is little hope that the court will support human rights activists. In interview with the European Radio for Belarus, Yuras Hubarevich, one of the movement leaders said:

"In the final statement, the prosecutor backed the position of the justice ministry. It could mean that tomorrow's decision would not be in our support".

Hubarevich maintains that despite another rejection, the movement will seek registration abroad. They are likely to file a new registration application in Belarus.
