Former Belneftekhim boss faces corruption charges

The former boss of Belneftekhim, Belarus's petrochemical monopoly, Barouski, has been convicted on corrpution charges, KGB spokesman Valeryi Nadtchaeu told reporters in Minsk.
But he would not elaborate on which article in the Penal Code is used or what level of punishment the former top state manager would face.

Barouski was arrested by KGB agents on May 29 on suspision of emnezzlement and office abuse.

He is currently being held in a KGB custody, reports Belapan.
