Football: Will Hleb stay at Emirates Stadium?

Belarus winger Alexander Hleb has finished his career at Arsenal, the Belarusian sports newspaper Pressball quotes Hleb's representative Uli Ferber as saying. "I can officially confirm that Alexander Hleb has recently made a decision to stop playing for Arsenal and change the club", Ferber said. Hleb, who played for Gunners in the last three consecutive seasons, has come to a conclusion that "something needs to be changed". Arsenal managers have allegedly accepted his decision.

Here is a comment from Nikolai Shpilevsky, Hleb's agent, in an interview with the European Radio for Belarus:

"He still have two years with Arsenal under his contract. Nobody knows what happens tomorrow or the day after tomorrow... There is a lot of speculation, but official information is yet to be released".

Italy's AC Milan and Inter and Spanish sides Barcelona and Read Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the Belarus playmaker.
