FC BATE Borisov CEO Anatol Kapski has died at the age of 52 after a long battle with illness. reports Pressball.

Anatol Kapski served as the club's constant chief executive since 1996 when he decided to revive BATE Borisov. Under his management, the club quickly became the leader of Belarusian football and secured several seasons in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. BATE has won Belarus Premier League 14 times.
