Football: BATE vs Shakhtar game may be postponed over Lukashenka visit
The Belarusian Championship match is preliminary re-scheduled for Sunday, November 3.
In case of BATE's win, they will secure the champions title pre-term. However,the reconstruction of the team's home stadium in Barysau should be completed in the coming days. Pressball reports the home game against Shakhtar Salihorsk may be postponed for 5 days till November 8 so that the match takes place at the new Barysau-Arena.
Moreover, Alyaksandr Lukashenka is reportedly expected to visit 'Barysaudreu' wood processing plant on November 8. He would also probably attend the football match in order to participate in the official ceremony to unveil the new stadium.
