Five thousand dollars and a trip to Capetown for an essay

The World Bank and Norwegian government have organized a contest for people between the age of 18 and 25. The topic is – “Shaping the City of Your Dreams”. It is the fifth contest of the kind. The Norwegian Ambassador to Lithuania Steiner Gil informs about its details:

“The fourth contest was organized last year. The topic of the essay was corruption. 2240 people from more than 130 countries of the world took part in it. The World Bank has decided to engage youth from all over the world to take part in the international contest dedicated to urbanization - “Shaping the City of Your Dreams”. It is about the way young people imagine their cities in the future”.

Three main things should be uncovered in the essay. Steiner Gil continues:

“Think about the city you live in. For example, Minsk. What are the major possibilities and challenges for its inhabitants? What should be done to turn your city in the city you of your dream? What should be your part in creation of the city of your dream?”
