Fire in Minsk trade centre “Capital” (photo)

A fire started in Minsk trade centre “Capital” yesterday evening. According to an lj user “g r p”, the accident occurred at about 8 p.m. on the ground floor of the centre. Security guards evacuated all sellers and visitors. Two fire-engines were noticed in Independence Square.
There have been no official comments on the emergency situation in “Capital” yet.

ERB has found out that the yesterday’s report of the Emergency Control Ministry contains information about 4 fires in Minsk. Three of them occurred in blocks of flats. At the same time, the number of evacuated people is 2025 (!).

The number of evacuated people and the fact that one of the fires did not take place in a block of flats prove that the accident did occur in “Capital”.
