Fedaruk’s complaint about beating is refused

Zmitser Fedaruk’s complaint about having been beaten by policemen and his appeal for a criminal case have been refused.
Let us remind you that the opposition activist sent a complaint about beating to Minsk Central District Office of Public Prosecutor on December 13.

He was injured during an unauthorized protest action in support of the Belarusian sovereignty that took place on the evening of December 12 at Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk.

The action was dated for the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Minsk on December 13 and 14. Doctors verified that Hvedaruk had a moderately severe brain concussion. Zmitser noted in his interview with ERB that the Office of Public Prosecutor had not explained its refusal.

Zmіtser Fedaruk: “The paper they sent me said that they could not start a criminal case and they also added that I “should turn to them” if there were any other violations of the law and order”.

Zmitser Fedaruk is going to appeal the decision of the Office of Public Prosecutor.
