Ezhednevnik: Corruption scandal at national press distribution monopoly

A prosecutor's office has given a go-ahead for the arrest of an official with Belsoyuzpechat, the state-owned press distribution agency. The arrested official was in charge of retail sales of newspapers. Allegedly, he got a bribe from a private company for facilitating paperwork approval associated with the mobile communications. He is facing up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
