Export of Belarusian goods to Russia increased by 39% in comparison with last year

The Russian budgets got 19 million Russian roubles as the value added tax paid for goods imported from Belarus to the Russian Federation in January-June 2010. It is 39% more that in the same period of the last year, informs the RBK agency referring to the Russian Federal tax service. The commodity circulation between Belarus and Russia has increased accordingly in comparison with the first half of 2009.

However, according to an analyst Syarhei Chaly, it is not caused by some extraordinary increase of trade relations between the neighbouring states this year.  The thing is the export of Belarusian goods to Russia decreased a lot due to the consequences of the world economic crisis in the first half of 2009. Thus, we are witnessing a kind of “return” of the export.
