European Union to allocate €6m to support small-scale business in Belarus

The European Union will allocate 6 million euro to support small-scale business in Belarus. The agreement between the EU and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was signed in the Ministry of Economy on September 13. Belarusian Minister of Economy Uladzimir Zinouski met with the EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti erlier.

 

The document is important for Belarus, Zinouski stressed. He noted that the realization of the project would promote the competitiveness of small-scale enterprises, create new jobs and diversify the Belarusian economy, BELTA reports.
