Dzima Sku fell down to the Belarusian musical Olymp out of a clear sky, and did the right thing. His appearance awakened the indifferent and stuffed "olympic" audience, like: What on earth did you come here for? Organize your concerts, do your design. What album are you talking about, Dzima? But Dzima got carried away - first an album, then - participation in the tributes of The Toоbes and Vopli Vidopliassova. And this is just a beginning…

However, we are talking about the album “Beater Solo”. Frankly speaking, it's not exactly an album - Dzima decided to convey his message to the public in the form of an album, that's it. A simple and easy to understand form. Correspondingly, if this is not an album, one should not look for any album-like inventions in it: well-thought arrangements, high-quality sound, mastering and assembling, clear singing, or any conceptual meaning. However, there is some concept in it as Dzima is a living breathing concept himself.

So, some short poems and songs came to Dzima's mind from time to time. When they settled in a clear order, he decided to record them, taking an ukulele in his hands and establishing contacts with Ilya and Syarhej. Basically, he could refrain from recording them, and simply make a mono-performance with recitation. However, Dzima had the right idea that the form of an album will give an opportunity for his message to be heard by a great number of people. Even more, if all this is published in the Internet, аnd spiced up with videos! And Dzima's videos are really good!
