Driver dies during police chase in Brest
A 23-year-old driver crashed and died in a road accident when trying to escape from the traffic police in Brest.
Officers noticed the moving rules violator last night when he was speeding recklessly on the opposite lane and did not react to orders from the police to stop. Traffic inspectors had to block the road in order to prevent an accident.
After entering the city of Brest, the driver lost controls of his vehicle and crashed into road guards.He died shortly after in a hospital. Earlier this year, he had been deprived of the driving permit for driving under influence of alcohol, reports Belapan.
