Deputy contender uses monologue from “V for Vendetta” in broadcast talk

Dzmіtry Babіtskі, a candidate for a seat in Barysau District Council of the movement “For Freedom” has used a monologue from the film “V for Vendetta” in his broadcast talk. He only changed a few words in it. The organizer of the candidate’s election campaign Syarhei Salash has informed ERB about it.
“V for Vendetta” describes the totalitarian Britain of the future. A lot of parallels with the Belarusian regime can be drawn watching the society in the film. Babitski has replaced the day of November 5, currently associated with radical acts of political will in modern Britain, with March 25.
