Democrats urge their adherents to participate in the celebration of July 3
The steering committee of the celebration of the Independence Day on July 27 has urged all adherents of democratic forces to take part in the celebration in the Belarusian capital on July 3.
In their appeal the day is called the Day of release of Belarus from fascist occupants.
“Belarusians demonstrated their courage and aspiration for freedom on July 3, 1944”, - is said in the appeal. – But we managed to get the real freedom and Independence only half a century later, after the breakdown of the USSR”.
