Dave Gahan in 3D: new video of Soulsavers to be watched on smartphone
The frontman of the Depeche Mode Dave Gahan and the band Soulsavers have filmed an unusual hologram music video for the song "All Of This And Nothing". Gahan's idea for the clip is revealed precisely while viewing the video on a tablet or smartphone, using a plastic pyramid to be glued separately. The result is a visible 3D-image of Gahan.
"The idea is not only cool, but also symbolic, because the ideal way to watch this video is to break the old CD box and turn it into a futuristic device. We take old things and create something new from them," says Jeff Greco from the band Fourclops, that implemented the technological design.
The song "All Of This And Nothing" is featured on the new album of Gahan and Soulsavers called "Angels & Ghosts".
