Court suspends Franak Vyachorka's military draft

A district court in Minsk today suspended the drafting of Franak Vyachorka, the leader of the Popular Front's youth wing. Vyachorka was scheduled to report to the conscription office on January 26 to be dispatched to a military unit. But on January 19, he appealed the decision of the district conscription office which declared him fit for the military service.
Now, Vyachorka can't be drafted before the court make the final ruling. The activist described today's court ruling as "a temporary victory".

The dare of the next court hearing is yet to be announced, reports Belapan.
