Congress of democratic forces starts in Minsk
A Congress of democratic forces has started in the Palace of Culture in Minsk.

The leader of the steering committee of the Congress Alyaksandr Buhvostau made the first speech and reviewed the results of work of democratic forces over the past years.
There are 568 delegates out of the declared 916 at the Congress. Let us remind you that a meeting of representatives of local affiliates (city and regional) of democratic parties and civil organizations took place in Mahileu yesterday. They decided to boycott the Congress.
According to the Radio Liberty, some candidates from Hrodna Region were not going to visit the Congress either.
About 100 journalists from Belarus, Russia, Poland, Czechia and the USA are covering the today’s event.
