Christians pray for Hrodna together

A united prayer of Catholics, members of Uniate Church and Evangelists for the city of Hrodna took place on May 8. Our reporter Zmitser Tsikevich comes up with details.

“80 followers of the three Christian creeds asked God to help them in their fight with the evil plans aimed to do harm to the city.




Christian priests used biblical examples to highlight the importance of the city for every inhabitant. When something wrong is being done to the city, everyone’s duty is to resist it.




According to one of the service’s participants, father Alyaksadr Shemet, the historical part of Hrodna is being rebuilt. He thinks that it will make Hrodna lose its historical appearance which cannot but insult followers of all Christian creeds.
