China claims that terrorists who tried to disrupt Olympics are dead
The Chinese police have killed the terrorists who had been planning terror acts during the Olympics in Peking. A representative of the Chinese Communist Party in Xinjiang province informed about it.
According to him, the police found materials proving terrorists’ intention to disrupt the Olympic Games in Peking. However, no other details have been reported.
Information about a terrorist act attempt prevented in China appeared at the same time. It was a plane that left the city of Urumcha (in the same insurgent province of Xinjiang) and was heading for Peking, informs Reuters.
