Child support to be increased by Br70 thousand

Child support allocated to mothers bringing up children under the age of 3 will be increased to reach the living wage in January.
The deputy Belarusian Prime Minister Uladzimir Patupchyk has claimed it answering parliamentarians’ questions.

He also supported the deputies’ idea to allow women to take maternity leaves staring from the 28th week of pregnancy. In parliamentarians’ opinion it will decrease the number of premature births, reports BelTA.

Let us note that the current child support totals about 180 thousand rubles. The average living wage is 250 thousands.
