Central Election Commission is ready for early voting
The Central Election Commission has checked whether the commissions are ready for the next stage of the election campaign the day before early voting. The CEC Press-Secretary Mikalaj Lazavik has informed to ITAR-TASS that "the sessions of precinct commissions will take place on December 13 all over the country. They will be dedicated to summarizing of the results of preparation to another important stage of the election campaign - early voting, which is to start on December 14".
Lazavik has also commented upon the appeals of alternative candidates not to take part in early voting. In particular, Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu has said at one of the meeting with voters in this regard :" Why voting 5 days earlier? We are not a sea country. Our men do not have to go to the sea".
Mikalaj Lazavik has said to this: "A series of international structures consider early voting as normal practice, which meets the democratic requirements".
