Conservative opposition allowed to organize rally and concert on March 24

The Minsk City authorities have allowed the Conservative Christian Party of Belarusian Popular Front (CCP-BPF) to organize a rally and a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian People’s Republic (BNR). They will be held in Kievski Public Garden on March 24. The event will begin at 12 p.m. and finish at 4 p.m. “The action may also be considered as the beginning of the celebration and a prologue to the festive rally and and the concert scheduled on March 25,” the information committee of the CCP-BPF (the party is headed by political emigrant Zyanon Paznyak) noted.

A major rally and a concert to celebrate 100 years of the Belarusian People’s Republic will be organized in front of the Opera and Ballet Theatre on Sunday, March 25 at 2p.m. – 7 p.m. The event was authorized by the Minsk City administration.
