A 27-year-old Belarusian
Piotr Byardouski and his American friend were hired to advertise a new cartoon
for adults. The guys hang small lanterns with cartoon pictures on bridges and
historical buildings of the city.

The police took the
lanterns for bombs and put cordons around every bridge. People living nearby
were evacuated. When the police detained the guys they could not help laughing
and were joking answering journalists’ questions. They are in no laughing mood
now.

According to the police report, the city wasted half million dollars for the
issue. Piotr Byardousky is under the risk of deportation.
