ByPol, the association of former Belarus security officers, has a plan in case of death of Aliaksandr Lukashenka, said the head of the organization, Aliaksandr Azarau in a comment to the Pozirk TV channel.

"But it is not for the media and is not connected with the "flowers", he added.

According to Azarau, there is now a debate about what to do in case of Lukashenka's death. "International partners are also waiting for an answer from us, but we cannot unveil it," the head of ByPol said.

Azarau believes that if Lukashenka dies, the Kremlin will appoint his protégé. "The elections will be rigged, of course. While these elections are taking place, we have time to do something," he added.

The last time Lukashenka appeared in public was on May 9. On that day he attended a parade in Moscow and in the evening a wreath-laying ceremony on Victory Square in Minsk.
