Bush presses for release of Alexander Kozulin

Volha Kozulina, the daughter of Alexander Kozulin, a high-profile political prisoner in Belarus who ran against Lukashenka during the 2006 presidential elections, met with George W. Bush in Washington to discuss the fate of her father.
Bush expressed words of support to the family of the political prisoner and reiterated that America would push for the release of Alexander Kozulin.

Volha Kozulina thanked the outgoing US president for his policy towards Belarus's leadership. She said Lukashenka could understand the language of force only. In the view of Volha Kozulina, five political prisoners were released in Belarus thanks to a firm stance of the United States.
