Brest policemen ‘steal’ unfastened bicycles

Inhabitants of a Brest block of flats have encountered this problem, onliner.by reports. A district police inspector got into the house equipped with a lock and an entrance door intercom. He took away four bicycles.

It turned out that the policeman was acting according to a campaign approved in the region.  They take away unfastened bicycles and prams. It is better to do it this way rather than waste time and efforts on looking for real thieves in the future, policemen say.
