Brazil and Mexico in World Cup play-offs
The hosts of the World Cup have taken the first position in group A thanks to a better goals and passed balls ratio.
Brazil defeated Cameroon 4:1 and Mexico won the match against Croatia 3:1 on June 24.
Cameroon managed to resist Brazil only in the first period. Joël Matip of Cameroon replied to Neymar’s first goal scored during the 17th minute 10 minutes later. However, the leader of the Brazilian team scored his second goal. Brazil won with a devastating score after the second period.
Mexicans scored three goals at the end of the match against Croatia. Croatia could only respond with one goal.
Spain defeated Australia at the Brazilian World Cup – 3:0.
