A member of the movement “For Freedom” Ales Zarembyuk has received a reply to his request sent to the director general of “Belposhta” A.I.Charnyak. Let us remind you that Zarembyuk sent an appeal to the head of “Belposhta” asking to include newspapers “Novy Chas” and “Hazeta Slonimskaya” in the subscription catalogue.

"Belposhta" refused to include independent editions in the subscription catalogue referring to… the Constitution.

"Art.58 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus says: “Nobody can be forced to carry out commitments not listed in the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and its laws or to refuse from their rights”.

As the law does not oblige to include printed editions in the subscription catalogue, “Belposhta” has the right to chose printed editions for its catalogue in order to distribute them. The right is realized according to the legislation”, - is said in the reply.
