Belarusians taking hard currency from country
The exit of foreign currency cash from Belarus has grown 2.75 times to reach $1,112 billion in January-September 2008 against the same period of the last year. The removal of cash US dollars from the country rose three times up to $926,197 million in January-September 2008.
An equivalent of $119,844 in cash euros was taken out of the country in the same period, a 64.8 percent rise.
At the same time, the inflow of the foreign currency dropped by 4.3 percent down to $477,597, reports AFN
