Belarusian wrestler Iosif Chuhashvili wins “bronze” at European Championship
A Belarusian sportsman Iosif Chuhashvili (weight below 120 kilos) has won a bronze medal at the European Graeco-Roman wrestling championship in Tampere, Finland.
The Belarusian heavy-weight wrestler was defeated by Yury Patrikeyev from Armenia in his first competition. However, he still had a chance to compete for the third place in the consolation competition.
Three more Belarusian athletes participated in the tournament on its first day. Andrei Baranouski was 5th, Ivan Husau – 8th and Mihail Syamyonau – 15th.
