The first Belarusian textbook making use of Ilya Frank’s method is out in Moscow.  The essence of the method is educational reading. The Belarusian text is translated into Russian on every page. People can read stories in the original and their translation sentence by sentence.

The collection of Lyudmila Rublyouskaya’s stories Old World Myths of the Town of B. was chosen for the textbook. A picture by Napoleon Orda was used for the cover.

The texts were translated into Russian by Lyudmila Firsova from Brest.

The works written by Tolkien, Dickens and other authors were used in this educational series earlier, Radio Liberty reports.
