Belarusian stars give concert in Warsaw (photo report)

Belarusian and Polish singers gave a concert in the Congress Hall Warsaw – one of the biggest Polish concert halls – on December 17. The ONT channel organized the Christmas concert.
Poles and Belarusians from Belsk, Belostok, Hainauka and Syamyatychy and diplomats were invited.

Every visitor received little Belarusian and Polish flags. Some listeners made one white-red-white flag out of two Polish flags.  However, security guards asked to remove big white-red-white flags referring to the fact that the organizers were against it and that it was not a political action. They had probably forgotten that they had given little flags to every visitor not long before.

Phonograms were used at the concert but some musicians clearly demonstrated that they were singing. Iryna Darafeeva sang a famous Polish song “Wsiąść do pociągu” unaccompanied and the audience helped her.

“Syabry”, “Pesnyary”, Pyotr Yalfіmau, Іryna Darafeeva, Halіna Shyshkova, Yadvіha Paplauskaya and Alyaksandr Tsіhanovіch, Alyaksandr Saladuha, Alyaksei Hlyastou, Heorhіi Kaldun and other singers took part in the concert. They sang famous Belarusian and Polish songs.
