Belarusian nuclear power plant may be built near the Lithuanian border

Two building sites for the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant have been examined in Mahileu Region. According to the web site “Belaruskiya Naviny”, the third site that is situated in Astravets District near the route Vilnya-Polatsk between the villages of Hoza and Mihalishki is being examined at the moment.

This place is 20 kilometres away from Lithuania, not far from well-known Belarusian lakes Svir, Narach, Sarachankiya and the river Viliya – one of the purest Belarusian rivers.
